How to drive the Pop-pop Boat
Pour water into one of the jet pipes at the back until water starts to come out the other, then let the boat on the water. Place included flammable substance in the fuel dish. Light fire to the dish and place it inside of the boat, under the steam engine. The boat should start running within a minute. The stop the boat, put out the flame and remove the boat from water.
Troubleshooting
Steam engine boats can be a bit delicate at first. If your boat isn’t moving properly, please go through this quick checklist — most issues can be fixed with a simple adjustment.
- Check for air in the engine
Use a syringe to inject water into one pipe until it flows out of the other. This removes trapped air that can stop the engine from working. - Check the heat source
Try using fresh fuel and slightly stronger heat. A stronger flame often helps the engine run more smoothly. - Check for leaks in the engine
Slide open the boat’s cover and look for any water leaking from the welded parts. If you notice a leak, the engine may be defective — please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
