Heron Bamboo Wind Chime Bali

This is a special wind chime from Bali. When the wind blows, the heron playfully moves its head up and down along with the sound of the bamboo wind chime.

The herons are skilfully crafted from a variety of shapes of coconut shells and bamboo. The neck movement can be adjusted by shifting the fulcrum of the balance bar.

The tune varies depending on the length of the bamboo sound sticks. This 30cm set has a lovely, slightly higher tuning. Like real blue herons, whose beaks turn red during the spring breeding season, watching a heron peck at food in a well-watered rice field brings a sense of calm and good luck.
